Marvel Studios has enlisted a new writer to help with the script Deadpool 3. Zeb Wells will take a crack at the script he previously worked on Bob’s burgers students Wendy Molyneux AND Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin and long-standing Dead Pool scribes Rhett Reese AND Paul Wernick.

Wells has worked for Marvel Comics in the past with titles such as Heroes for hire, Civil War: Young Avengers/Fugitivesvaried Spiderman titles, New mutants, Venom: dark originAND Dark Realm: Elektraand most recently took the lead writer position for The Incredible Spider-Man.
The writer has also worked on several TV series projects including Robot chicken, She-Hulk: AdvocateAND SuperMansion. Wells has had plenty of experience writing for Marvel and comedy projects and should make a solid addition to the team.
It’s unclear whether Wells is writing another draft and working alongside Reese and Wernick. But he would make sense if they all worked together to refine what they’ve currently developed.
When earlier we talked about the development process Deadpool 3director Shawn Levi he said, “We’re writing, rewriting, developing, prepping ‘Deadpool’ every day now. It’s so much fun to laugh every day. It’s so delightful to listen and write and come up with these scenes where people just talk shit, and violence is in your face and hardcore, and it’s just a ‘Deadpool’ movie. And there’s Logan in it. And there’s Wolverine too. It’s too much fun, I’m having so much fun, and I haven’t hit the filming floor yet. […] I have to say developing a “Deadpool” movie is one of the most enjoyable creative experiences of my life because it’s not just because it’s R-rated. It’s because it’s so full of self-awareness and that makes writing very, very fun in a way that’s unique to that franchise.”
So far, the movie stars Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Emma Corrin like the bad guy, e Matthew Macfadyen in an unknown role. Karan Soni AND Leslie Uggams they will also return as Dopinder and Blind Al respectively.
Deadpool 3 will be released on November 8, 2024.
