Now, that novel is getting a sequel, with the release of Grisham The exchange: after the study this fall. The new legal thriller will mark the return of lead character Mitch McDeere, and Grisham described the sequel:
“When I last saw him The company, Mitch McDeere and his wife Abby were fleeing Memphis with bad guys in hot pursuit. Now they’re back, fifteen years later, and live in New York where Mitch is an international lawyer and partner in a mega firm. His work takes him around the world, and not always in safe places. During a trip to Libya, his trusted collaborator is kidnapped and threatened with execution unless a large ransom is paid. Only Mitch can facilitate the exchange and I hope readers enjoy the novel as much as I am writing it.”
The company it has not been out of print since it was first released in 1991. The film version starring Tom Cruise, released 30 years ago, is the highest-grossing Grisham adaptation to date, grossing more than $270 million.
