


nearly two months later well afflicted, 50, gave free Dunkin’ Donuts orders in a hilarious Super Bowl LVII commercial, is back with a new one. The beloved donut and coffee retailer released a new ad featuring the Oscar-winning actor on April 3, showcasing his less-than-funny reaction to being mistaken for his best friend. Matt Damon. The commercial (seen below) began with Ben waving to cashiers inside a Dunkin’ store to go trick-or-treating and partaking in the new deal, which lists a donut for just $1 with a medium or large coffee purchase.
“I’m here for the Dunkin’ Run ad campaign,” he informed the bartenders. “It’s a great deal: great coffee, a donut for a dollar. I mean, that’s pretty awesome.” He then explained that he thought ordering a coffee and a donut like the average customer would be “authentic and meta” for the commercial. He explained, “Yeah, I’m doing the commercial, but I’m doing the commercials? You know, I don’t do commercials. I’m a real actor. This is an art form to me.”
However, the bartenders didn’t understand Ben’s thought process because they didn’t recognize him. The worker tried to act calm and noticed that Ben was inside those who have left – one of Matt’s films. However, when the colleague tried to congratulate him and said that he loved Matt Damon, Ben did not accept anything. “No, I mean something from his work,” he said after discussing the bartender’s statement. The bartender went on to say that Matt, 52, has had “a really solid career.” Ben groaned and grumbled in disapproval.
The commercial ended with Ben walking out of the shop and drinking his coffee with a bag of donuts in hand. “Time to run at Dunkin. Grab a $1 donut with any medium or larger coffee,” said his voice-over.

It’s no secret that Massachusetts native Ben (where Dunkin’ was founded!) loves Dunkin’ Donuts, as he is often seen in Los Angeles with something from the famous fast food chain in hand. Plus, he didn’t just launch a commercial with the company in February; but he was also seen delivering orders to Boston Dunkin’ Donuts customers in January. his wife, Jennifer Lopezshe even showed up to let him serve.
Ben, who wrote the ad script, directed and produced, for PEOPLE, spoke to the outlet after his first announcement and said it made sense for him to promote the company. “I think people already think I work for Dunkin’,” she said. “In Boston, it was a big deal. I think I was associated with that, and it felt like a fun opportunity to play with that association and an opportunity to come back here to shoot home in Boston.
