Director of Paddington 1 AND 2 Paul King commented: “After ten years of working on Paddington’s films, I feel absurdly protective of the teddy bear and am delighted that Dougal will be there to hold his paw as he embarks on his third big screen venture. Dougal’s work is never less than stunning: funny, beautiful, sincere, imaginative and totally original. Aunt Lucy once asked us to “Please take care of this bear.” I know Dougal will do it admirably.

Producer Heyman noted, “After careful research, we are delighted that the brilliant Dougal Wilson will direct Paddington’s third film. A much garlanded legend in the advertising world, we have long admired Dougal’s virtuosic work and his gift for directing with heart, humor, surprise and vivid imaginative flair.
