Until now, The Mandalorian Season 3 was absolutely amazing! I enjoyed every bit of it, especially the Bo-Katan story arc. I love her journey right now and can’t wait to see where he takes her.

Mark Hamill and his Return of the Jedi helix lightsaber reunite in Pop Culture Quest Clip
The latest episode of the series, “The Pirate”, definitely made me and many other fans think that there might be some sort of connection between Bo-Katan and The Armorer. In the episode, The Armorer asks Bo-Katan to take off his helmet and tells her that he can walk both worlds to unite the Mandalorian tribes. This is a very beautiful moment.
They then go before the rest of the Mandalorian tribe and announce their intention to take back their home planet of Mandalore.
As you know, the Armorer was very strict with Din Djarin when he discovered that he had removed his helmet. Hence, this seemed to confuse the fans on the apparent change of heart of him with Bo-Katan. This could be explained if the two Mandalorian warriors already knew each other.
One fan shared on Reddit, “I feel like Bo and the Gunsmith must have known each other before or something. I don’t think it’s his sister since she’s dead and all, but it must be someone.”
Bo-Katan’s sister is Satine Kryze, but her name has yet to be cleared. Satine was killed in The Clone Wars when Darth Maul took over Mandalore. Bo-Katan aided the Sith Lord with his dastardly deeds, but eventually changed her mind and took back the planet with the help of Ahsoka Tano.
One theory I’ve read is that Satine and Bo-Katan had another brother. It is explained: “There is a theory that Satine and Bo-Katan had another sibling (it could be a sibling, in which case the copycat theory would be that the Gunsmith is their sister-in-law), and this is because of Korkie , who refers to Satine as her aunt (maybe also Bo, I don’t remember; Bo is definitely not her mother though). There are two other explanations for this: Korkie could be an adopted nephew (if such a thing exists) , or the other theory is that he is actually Obi-Wan and Satine’s illegitimate child, and is referred to as a grandson to avoid scandal while benefiting from a royal/noble upbringing.”
Korkie Kryze is a Clone Wars character whose true parentage has never been revealed. Another theory is that The Armorer could be Clone Wars character Rook Kast. She was involved in the siege of Mondalore as a supporter of Darth Maul. She was eventually captured by Bo-Katan.
Another fan on Reddit said, “I still think it’s Rook Kast, mostly because of her horns on her helmet. It would be great if it really was her, especially since Bo once imprisoned her.” The horns of the helmet are believed to be inspired by the horns on Maul’s head.
If there is a connection between the two characters, one day we will discover the identity of The Armorer, but at the moment all this remains a mystery.
Do you think The Armorer and Bo-Katan have a connection to each other? If so, what do you think it could be!?
