The penultimate number of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II it’s almost there. I love these comedy crossovers so much. We have the turtles as Mutant Rangers, the Rangers now as mutants, and I’m just in love. BOOM! Studios recently dropped our first look MMPR/TMNT II #4 and it looks so awesome. The story is written by Ryan Parrott (Rogue sun) with art of Dan Mora (Once and future), color by Raúl Anguloand letters from Ed Dukeshire.

The penultimate issue heats up as the Mutant Rangers are in dire straits, but a familiar mentor brings in new allies to turn the tide! But the battle also rages on in Dimension X, where the roles of hero and villain continue to blur as they battle old enemies and unknown monsters. The Mutant Rangers shouldn’t celebrate too soon though, as their worst enemy arrives in a monstrous new form!
MMPR/TMNT II #4 will be available to read March 29 at your local comic store or anywhere you want to buy comics. The main cover is by Mora with variant covers available from Kevin Eastmann & Freddy Williams II with Andrea Dalhouse, Jordan Gibson, Taurine Clarke, Paolo Rivera, Simon of Meo, Karen S. Darboe, EM Gist, Miguel MercadoAND Goñi Montes. I personally love the Gibson cover. I would watch that Saturday morning cartoon!
