Relax with video game console recovery and repair videos

We all need ways to relax. For some it’s playing, for others it’s working, and sometimes you just have to watch something satisfying. I’ve found that some of the most satisfying videos to watch are the ones where people fix and restore old things, especially video game consoles and accessories. You can always search for these videos on Google or YouTube, but I wanted to share some of my favorite channels with you. TronicsFix

The TronicsFix channel satisfies me, but it’s not the most relaxing on the list. I love watching video game systems being fixed, which is most of his channel, so that’s great. However, he talks a lot and walks you through what he’s doing. It’s very helpful and instructive, but it takes away from the relaxation aspect a bit in my opinion. I would definitely still give it a watch for some satisfying videos though. Here’s a video he shared that’s more relaxing though.

TysyTube

This is a channel that does a lot more than just restoring video game consoles. TysyTube makes videos that restore consoles like an old SNES, but they also have videos that restore seemingly random things like a WWII French bayonet or a destroyed cheese grater. All the videos are so satisfying to watch and are quite relaxing because there is usually no talking, just the sounds of repairs.

Weird tinkering

Here is a channel very similar to TysyTube. On Odd Tinkering, you won’t hear any explanations, but you can read some explanations just like TysyTube as they restore old consoles and other items. They are so similar, but I tend to prefer Odd Tinkering slightly more because I feel like they do more video game related restorations and have a rubber ducky to watch as they clean certain parts.
