Sons of Anarchy star Tommy Flanagan has joined Russell Crowe, Karen Gillanand more in the upcoming crime thriller film Sleeping dogs.

The film is an adaptation of the EO Chirovici novel The book of mirrors. The story follows “former homicide detective Roy Freeman (Crowe), who in the wake of a cutting-edge treatment for Alzheimer’s, is tasked with re-examining a brutal murder case from his past: the gruesome murder of a professor (Marton Csokas). Intrigued and struggling to regain his memory, Roy enlists his former partner’s help in relaunching the investigation. This time, however, things play out very differently when they meet a magnetic and mysterious woman (Gillan). : As he uncovers a tangled web of contradictions and secrets, Roy is forced to face a horrific reality that changes his world forever in the blink of an eye. .”
Adam Cooper he is making his feature film directorial debut from a script he wrote with BillCollage (Assassin’s Creed). The project is staged at Nickel City Pictures with Harry Greenwood AND Thomas M. Wright to complete the cast.
Flanagan is a great actor and always tends to play really badass characters. Sleeping dogs looks like it will be another big project for him. Some other projects he has been in include Power Book IV: Forza, Westworld, Peaky Blinders, Wu Assassins, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, The Ballad of Lefty Brownand Netflix’s Iraq War picture Sandcastle opposite to Henry Cavill AND Nicholas Hoult.
