Thanks to the director Chad Staheleski, we now know the timeline of the four movies that have been made in the action franchise. So much has happened over the course of these four films and Wick is constantly on the run and fighting for his life against the never ending onslaught of assassins. Wick definitely has the superpowers of stamina and endurance!

It turns out that John Wick’s journey took place in an incredibly short amount of time! During an interview with Collider, Staheleski opened up about the film’s timeline saying:
“We thought the first three movies almost happened in a week, a week and a half, somewhere in there. This is my version, I think Keanu’s is a little different, and I think [‘Chapter 4’] it’s like six months later. So within a year, I think it all happens. I would say almost within seven to eight months.
It’s wild! Over the course of those first three movies that week, when did Wick have time to eat, sleep and go to the bathroom!? He had to eat to keep up that kind of energy! He also hurt himself badly, but I guess a few months is all the time he needs to heal.
Well, when we see it inside John Wick: Chapter 4Wick is fully rested and ready to go, and once he gets underway…it’s nonstop insane action!
John Wick: Chapter 4 even stars Donnie Yen, Hiroyuki Sanada, Rina Sawayama, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Clancy Brown, Ian McShaneand Bill Skarsgard as the sinister main villain.
The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 24, 2023.
