Trailer for MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL Season 5 sees Midge trying to break all the rules

Prime Video has released a fun full trailer for the fifth and final season of The wonderful Mrs. Maisel and tease Rachel Brosnahanit’s Midge, who’s trying to break every single rule so she can have the big life she dreams of living. The upcoming season is sure to take her on a pretty fun and wild journey. I’m very excited to see how this story ends for her!

The series is set in the late 1950s and “Miriam ‘Midge’ Maisel has everything she ever wanted: the perfect husband, two kids and a posh apartment on New York’s Upper West Side. Her seemingly idyllic life takes a surprising turn when she discovers a hidden talent she didn’t previously know she had: stand-up comedy. This revelation changes her life forever as she begins a journey that takes her from her comfortable life on the Upper West Side through the cafes and nightclubs of Greenwich Village as she makes her way through the city’s comedy industry on a path that ultimately it might lead her to a spot on the ‘Tonight Show’ couch.

The synopsis for the fifth season reads: “After burning ties and being cut from the tour, Midge Maisel has endured throughout the fourth season, rebuilding her career and her reputation. The final moments of the season culminated with Midge leaving Carnegie Hall reinvigorated and ready to weather any blizzard. After an epiphany in front of the snow-covered billboard of The Gordon Ford Show, Midge is ready to “Move On” and fight for her rise to stardom, equipped with her wit and sharp tongue, and nothing else to lose. In the fifth and final season, Midge finds herself closer than ever to the success she’s dreamed of, only to find that closer than she ever is she’s still so far away.

The show was created by Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive product from Daniel Palladinoand the series is the protagonist Rachel Brosnahan, Tony Shalhoub, Alex Borstein, Marin Hinkle, Michael Zegen, Kevin Pollak, Caroline Aaron AND Luke Kirby.
