There have been some recent updates regarding Disney Aladdin 2 in the last two months. One of the biggest reports that has come out is that Will Smith he would reprise his role as a Genie. Now, Aladdin star Mena Massud he’s offered his upgrade, and he’s definitely a half-empty cup guy. When asked by a fan about the sequel, the actor responded by saying, “Very unlikely at this point.”

I don’t think it’s unlikely at all! I think the sequel will eventually happen. Why do I think this? Because the live-action remake wasn’t just good, it grossed over a billion dollars at the box office! Obviously Disney will start a sequel! That first movie was a huge hit, and Disney always wants to make money, and this is a franchise that’s going to give it to them.
