Things at Marvel Studios with the MCU are not going the way the company would like, as their films are receiving negative ratings. This would cause the house of ideas to reconsider one of the most important films for the future of their shared universe, “Avengers: Secret Wars”, which could be divided into two parts, in exchange for being delayed.
According to a recent post by Alex Pérez of The Cosmis Circus, a well-known industry insider, says that ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ could be split into two films, after one of his followers questioned the use of “films” when referring to the sixth Avengers installment. The tipster responded with a GIF of Stanley Hudson’s “The Office” that read “Did I stutter?”
This follows the rumors that the wonder would be inside “first conversations” split ‘Avengers 6′ in two films, which sprang from Marvel Studios’ Spoilers subreddit just a few weeks ago. And not only that, there is mention that if it turns out, ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ could be delayed and release its first part after 2026, the current date.
It would come as no surprise then that Marvel, as the MCU develops with more films and series for Disney+, has clearer ideas about what it wants to do with the Avengers installments, and for that reason It would take two movies to conclude with the story of ‘Avengers: Secret Wars”.

Marvel and what it wants to tell about ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’
Currently, only the release date for Avengers 5 and 6 is known, which were written by Jeff Loveness and Michael Waldron, respectively. There are many rumors surrounding the two films, but ‘Secret Wars’, being one of the most complex and ambitious events in comics, the company wants to do it justice, with one of the most extensive crossovers in the MCU.
Ever since ‘Secret Wars’ was announced, fans have believed that the company is doing everything possible to bring together old and new superheroes, which would include Tobey Maguire and Hugh Jackman as Spiderman and Wolverine, respectively. As well as cameos from the Fantastic 4, the X-Men or other characters that are part of their heroes in the comics.
Perhaps a delay in the release date, and the division of the story, could mean including and not leaving out any of the ideas that Marvel Studios has to wrap up Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a big way, and start a new phase for the Marvel Cinematic Universe from scratch. ‘agency.
