Sounds like John Wick: Chapter 4 it will be the last John Wick movies we’ve been watching for a while. We have the Dancer upcoming spin-off movies and The Continental spinoff series, but what about John Wick: Chapter 5 go, we probably won’t see him for another few years.

Director Chad Stahelski previously said that he needs some time to practice and become a better director before returning to make another one John Wick movie. Now, in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the director says he and Keanu Reeves they will give the franchise a break. He says:
“In our minds, Keanu and I are done for the time being. We’re going to rest John Wick. I’m sure the studio has a plan. If everyone loves it and it gets wacky, then we’ll have a quiet minute.
“Wicks, for some strange reason, always gets the latest release date in Japan. It’s always like, three months later. If it’s the same this time, we’ll do a Japanese tour and release the movie in September. Keanu and I will do the long drive to Tokyo, we sit at the Imperial Hotel’s Scotch Bar and say, ‘What do you think?’ We’ll have a couple of 20-year-old whiskeys and write some ideas on napkins. If these ideas stick, maybe we’ll make a movie.” .
Now, I just want to point out that the director has said before that he and Keanu Reeves Have John Wick movie ideas for days and that he could make these movies for the rest of his career:
“I like making these films because there are no limits. We create our own mythology and have a studio that doesn’t hinder us and supports us in extravagant decisions. If people go to see the movie, and it makes money, and they come back to us, Keanu and I have ideas for days. I could live here for the rest of my career.”
So, we know that he and Reeves already have ideas about where they want to see the franchise go and when you’re watching it John Wick: Chapter 4, you’ll see how that future is set up. I completely understand that they want to take a break John Wick do other things! I think the fans want them to be able to work on other projects, but I have no doubt they’ll be back for a fifth John Wick movies when they’re ready.
John Wick: Chapter 4 hits the big screen March 24.
