Loki creator Michael Waldron has formed a new company, Anomaly Pictures, with producing partner Adam Fasullo

EXCLUSIVE: After another very successful year Loki And Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness Writer Michael Waldron is forming a new film and television production company, Anomaly Pictures, with producing partner Adam Fasullo. The new banner believes that popcorn entertainment can also be prestige entertainment. At the heart of every project is the question: What if it was good?

The launch follows Waldron, who also renews his overall deal with Disney and Marvel Studios, where he not only hits with the Loki series (season 2 will premiere this year) and the Doctor Strange Continued, but also only recently written Avengers: Secret Wars for Marvel. When the company came together, Waldron and Fasullo first met and became fast friends as they developed and established the critically acclaimed series heels at Starz. This show will air its second season this year, and the duo will aim to develop more projects in the coming years.

Waldron is the creator and executive producer of the record-breaking Disney+ series Loki and wrote Marvel’s highest-grossing film of 2022, Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness. The next thing for him at Marvel is writing Avengers: Secret Warsthe conclusion of the multiverse saga.

Fasullo comes from Mike Flanagan and Trevor Macy’s Intrepid Pictures, where he served as vice president of development and production during the company’s Netflix deal. During his tenure, he oversaw the hit series midnight fair, The Ghost of Bly ManorAnd The Midnight Club. Prior to Intrepid, Fasullo spent six years at Paramount relaunching Paramount Television’s studio. He oversaw the development and production of Intrepid’s breakthrough hit The Ghost of Hill House for Netflix, global sensation Jack Ryan by Tom Clancy for Amazon, the Emmy nominee station eleven for HBOMax and the upcoming Veneer by Samantha Bird for stars.
