I’m pretty excited about the upcoming movie Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, and I hope it ends up being a good movie! With Dungeons & Dragons, there are so many different directions the film franchise could go in, actually what the film needs is a great DM at the helm. If you have a great DM, you will have a great experience!
This film will tell us if the directors Jonathan Goldstein AND John Francis Daley are they good DMs or not. If they are, the movie will be a hit and they will continue to shoot D&D sequel. Speaking about the potential for any sequels, Goldstein teased that if they were able to make one, there are so many places that could go with it:
“We haven’t planted any seeds. But if we’re lucky enough to make another one, then I think there are so many places to go. We’ve created these amazing characters that we’d love to see where they are in a year or two.”
Daley added, “We’re also very superstitious. So we don’t like to talk about it.” But he’s excited to watch this first film with an audience at SXSW: “I’m excited to be in the theater with people because hopefully they’re unanimously shocked that it’s a movie they weren’t expecting.”
Goldstein added, “The scale of that, the adventure and the action and also just that there’s loud laughter (moments) and there’s emotion, I mean, people are really going to feel something by the end of this movie, I hope and think I won’t expect it.”
It’s good to hear that! I have an idea of what I expect from this movie, so if it ends up exceeding those expectations with things I didn’t anticipate, that would be great!

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves brings the rich world and playful spirit of the legendary RPG to the big screen in an exhilarating, action-packed adventure.
The film is the protagonist Chris Pino, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis , Chloe Coleman, daisy headAND Hugh Grant. It will hit theaters on March 31, 2023! Are you excited to watch this movie!?
