The series created a new wave of primetime viewers over its six seasons from 2004 to 2010, taking fans on a wild ride, ending in a highly controversial ending that divided all who watched.
To get lost will be a collection of brand new interviews with the cast, crew and fan community, as well as a massive amount of archival footage including over 100 hours of footage from an unfinished film Lost documentary abandoned in 2010.
Morden said in a statement:
“LOST it was a show that meant so much to so many people, myself included! It came at a time when we were still all gathering around the tv from week to week to find out what happened next. I want to make a film that celebrates the impact the show has had on the pop culture landscape, examines the missteps, and perhaps unveils the true meaning of LOST. Love or hate, LOST it was a seminal show and paved the way for the new golden age of television that we all know and love today.”
To get lost is produced by Ralph D. Apel and Taylor Morden and is scheduled for release in 2024 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the crash of Flight 815. You can follow production updates via the official site.
