Once again the Oscar awards are celebrated, which began in 1929, and in this 2023 the 95th edition of the awards organized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences arrives. On this occasion, “Everything Everywhere All at Once” comes as the film with the most nominations and starts as the big favorite of the evening.
The big category of the evening is that of the best film, where titles like ‘Top Gun: Maverick’, ‘Everything everywhere at the same time’, ‘The Banshees of Inisherin’, ‘The Fabelmans’, ‘Women Talking’, ‘The Triangle of Sadness’, ‘All Quiet on the Front’, ‘Avatar: The Water Path’, ‘Elvis’ and ‘TÁR’, to gain the highest prestige in the film industry.
Two of the categories that have generated the greatest expectations in this edition are those of best actor and best actress, where Brendan Fraser is considered the favorite to take home the statuette for ‘The whale’. While, in the women’s competition, Cate Blanchett wants her third prize, and snatches it from Michelle Yeoh, star of ‘Everything everywhere at the same time’.
The celebration of Academy Awards 95.a will take place at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. And at the gala, Jimmy Kimmel repeats himself as presenter, who will be accompanied by big stars such as Samuel L. Jackson, Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Jennifer Connelly, Glen Close, Jessica Chastain, Halle Berry, Zoe Saldaña, Antonio Banderas, among some others .

‘The Whale’ wins Best Makeup at the Oscars
Much of the recognition Brendan Fraser has gotten in Darren Aronofksy’s new film is due to the artists behind ‘The whale’, which won best makeup at the 2023 Oscars. A category that was one of the most competitive of the evening, with titles such as ‘The Batman’, Netflix’s ‘All Quiet Front’, ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ and ‘Elvis’.
The work of ‘The whale’in the makeup themes were well recognized by critics and trade press, given that Brendan Fraser’s performance would not have been the same without the work of Adrien Moro, Judy Chin and Annemarie Bradley, took to the stage at the Dolby Theatre.
