A new TV commercial for Shazam! Fury of the Gods is currently running and the big thing about this one is that it features a great DC superhero character, and if you clicked through to read about it then you wanted to know it’s Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman!

Studios usually save this sort of thing for audiences when they go to see the actual movie in theaters, but I guess they thought putting Wonder Woman in marketing would help get people into theaters to watch the movie.
When there was earlier talk of Gadot appearing in the film as Wonder Woman, Zechariah Levi she said, “I think getting a cameo from anyone would be great, but I just think Gal Gadot is so bubbly. She has such charm. I’m like, ‘You sound like you’re grounded and cool, and you’re Wonder Woman, and you rock.’ And I think it would be really fun to have 14-year-old Billy Batson in Shazam who’s really awkward with this beautiful cowgirl, I just think it would be really cool.
The film “will continue the story of teenager Billy Batson, who recites the magic word ‘SHAZAM!’ is struck by the Living Lightning of the gods and transformed into his adult superhero alter ego, Shazam. He has the powers of six gods: the wisdom of Solomon, the strength of Hercules, the endurance of Atlas, the power of Zeus, the courage of Achilles and the speed of Mercury.
Billy Batson and his adopted brothers, who can all transform into superheroes, leap into action and fight against the Daughters of Atlas to save the world from a weapon that could destroy it.
David F. Sandberg returned as director and the film’s characters and cast include Billy Baston (Angel Asher and Levi), Freddy (Jack Dylan Grazer AND Adam Brody), Eugene (Ian Chen AND Ross Butler), Peter (Jovan Armand AND DJ Corona), Darla (Faith Herman AND Megan Well), and Mary (Grace Fulton AND Michael Borth). Elena Mirren is taking on the role of Hespera e Lucy Liu he is playing Kalypso.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods will hit theaters on March 17, 2023.
