James Gunn, the mastermind behind all the Guardians projects, once again gathers his gang in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3”, film that marks the end of these characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With two trailers available, two posters, and an official synopsis, there’s little information left to know before seeing the film. One of them is durability, which Gunn has commented on.
Gunn, who is as active on social media as anyone in the film industry, just shared a little detail about “Guardians 3.” An Instagram user asked the director about the film’s length, and while he didn’t reveal exactly how long, he did confirm it is the longest chapter of the trilogy.

“Please, could you tell us the duration of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’? Or, at least, confirm if it is longer than 1 and 2. Thanks”asks the user. “It’s longer than 1 and 2”Gunn answers. If we take into account that ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ lasts 2 hours and 2 minutes and its sequel 2 hours and 17 minutes, the third it may be closer to 2 1/2 hours.
the rocket is in danger
Although the lives of all Guardians are in danger at the end of the trilogy, the most recent synopsis for ‘Vol. 3’ reveals that Rocket is particularly at risk: “In Marvel Studios’ ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’, our beloved band of misfits adjusts to life in Wisdom. But it’s not long before their lives are turned upside down by the aftermath of Rocket’s troubled past. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him on a perilous mission to save Rocket’s life.a mission which, if not successfully completed, could spell the end of the Guardians as we know them.” The High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji), the film’s villain, is the key to Rocket’s past, so it wouldn’t be surprising if he has a special interest in the raccoon.
“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3”, directed and written by James Gunn and starring Chris Pratt (Peter Quill), Zoe Saldaña (Gamora), Sean Gunn (Kraglin), Pom Klementieff (Mantis), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Dave Bautista (Drax), Vin Diesel (Groot) and Bradley Cooper (Rocket), opens At the cinema from May 5th.
