In the film, “John Wick discovers a path to defeat The High Table. But before he can earn his freedom, Wick must face a new foe with powerful alliances across the globe and forces that turn old friends into enemies.

Skarsgård’s character is described as an “ugly ambitious” individual trying to make a name for himself. The actor previously said: “The Marquis is a young man of unknown origins who quickly climbed the ladder inside the high table doing god knows what. I’ve always seen him as someone from the gutter now savoring the glittery clothes wearing. It works as the new sheriff sets out to rid the world of John Wick once and for all.” ohhn he’s getting old and tired, the Marquis is offering him a way out. Being the one who will ultimately kill the Baba Yaga would ensure her status and the power of him within the High Table.”

Obviously, the Marquis doesn’t really know what he’s getting into. But he can surely make Wick’s life a living hell with the “bureaucratic evils” of the High Table by enforcing and manipulating the system’s arbitrary rules.

John Wick: Chapter 4 is led by Chad Stahelski, and the cast also includes Donnie Extravagant Yen, Hiroyuki Sanada, Rina Sawayama, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Clancy Brown, Ian McShane, AND Bill Skarsgard as the sinister main villain.

The film is currently scheduled to hit theaters on March 24, 2023.
