BATTLE CHASERS #10 hits comic book shelves after 20 years and looks great

Battle hunters is a comic series by Joe Madureira from the days gone by with issue 9 ending on a cliffhanger and issue 10 never released. Until now. Image Comics recently announced that they will be publishing Battle hunters #10 on June 14 in local comic shops. The comic is written by Madureira with artwork by Ludo Lullabi and it looks gorgeous! I never heard of it Battle hunters before, but looking at the preview (included below) I really want to go and read it. That art is absolutely killer.

Battle Chasers #10 promises fans a new action-packed story, with art for play and sensational comic Lullabi. In this new story arc, titled “Martial Law,” readers are introduced to the bloody tale of retired swordsman Garrison and fugitive Red Monika as they take on Maestro’s band of supernatural assassins: the Martial Paladins!

Speaking to io9, Madureira shared:

I’ve been truly moved over the years by the level of excitement Battle Chasers still generates decades after its original release. With the success of the Battle Chasers game “Nightwar” and a TV show in the works, it seemed like the perfect time to release some new books. Working with these characters again has healed a part of my soul and Ludo’s artwork is so amazing I can’t wait for readers to get their hands on it.
