The Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapman University announced today that Oscar-nominated director Fernando Meirelles (City of God, the two popes) will be the next Marion Knott Distinguished Artist.

Meirelles follows Asghar Farhadi (a separation), Dodge’s newest Distinguished Artist. He will spend three full days on campus (March 14-16) helping graduate and undergraduate students come up with story ideas while also talking about the production, casting and rough analysis of their films.
