‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ Opens Franchise Record Between $60-$70 Million – Early Look Box Office

EXCLUSIVE: by Liongate John Wick: Chapter 4 has arrived on track today with a robust projection in between 60 million – 70 million dollars in the highest opening in the United States for the R-rated Keanu Reeves franchise. That’s another solid opening in a back-to-back programmed spring for tent poles.

The anticipated opening for Chapter 4 would also be the biggest opening for Lionsgate since the pandemic. The studio scored a solid win last weekend with the faith-based title Jesus Revolution which opened to $15.8 million and just passed $20 million yesterday.

Keep in mind that tracking for all films remains shaky during the pandemic. In terms of openings, there is usually a -10% ease between a threequel and a fourthquel.

Winston plots a deadly course through New York City’s mysterious underworld in an attempt to seize control of the legendary hotel that serves as a meeting place for the world’s most dangerous criminals. Reeves does not play a role in the Shawn Simmons, Greg Coolidge and Kirk Ward series.

Woodell stars alongside Ayomide Adegun, who will play a young Charon, Peter Greene, who will play Uncle Charlie, Mel Gibson as Cormac, Ben Robson as Frankie, Hubert Point-Du Jour as Miles, Jessica Allain as Lou, Mishel Prada as KD and Nhung Kate as Yen.
