Kyle Cooke hopes to ‘make up for lost time’ and ‘share laughs’ with Carl Radke after split (exclusive)

Despite Carl’s decision to drop his role in Kyle’s LoverBoy brand and the growing tensions between close friends on the show, Kyle said hollywood life who hopes the two can “rebuild” their friendship and “make up for some lost time”. “I think we can refocus on our friendship again,” the LoverBoy founder said in an EXCLUSIVE interview following Carl’s departure from the company. “We can have a good laugh.”

Kyle admitted that he entered this season of Summer house “a little shy” as he and Carl were going through their “first conflict”. “It wasn’t really a disagreement from a friendship standpoint, but we’re just trying to reach an agreement that we don’t agree on.” He says that, at the end of the day, he doesn’t regret Carl joining LoverBoy as their first investor and employee, despite their friendly status. “I feel very fortunate to have a friend who buys and invests and wants to work for us from the beginning, and it seemed like a great situation to be in – building something together that will give purpose to both of us and we’ve had a great experience. walk,” he explained. “His role has morphed into a more supportive role where he’s out in the market doing these activations and surrounding himself with wholesalers and retailers and fans at these LoverBoy parties. He added: “Obviously there are a lot of moving parts here, but this is the most important and I have to respect his decision.” last week at Summer housefans saw Kyle reach what he told HL was his “breaking point,” in which he and Carl got into a fight, during which the 40-year-old accused his friend of being kicked out of the business by the last August when Carl started his relationship with Lindsay Hubbard. Carl applauded and told Kyle that he felt belittled and undervalued by the brand, even though he felt like the “face” of the company. Things take a turn for the worse later in the episode after the boss learns that LoverBoy has lost his distributor for the entire Coachella Valley and Carl heads to Los Angeles to spend the weekend without completing the team.

Despite the talks, Kyle believes Carl’s relationship with Lindsay has made him reconsider his decision to work for LoverBoy. “The only thing that’s changed between last summer and this summer is a very intense relationship where they’re always together and openly talk about some of their frustrations at work,” he told HL. “Now I think we need to go back to the roots of our friendship and bring that to the fore and make that a priority.”
