

‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ Wins 2023 SAG Awards for Best Cast – A24 (Courtesy)
The 2023 Screen Actors Guild Awards took place on February 26 and in some regions they were able to watch the broadcast via Netflix and for the only time on their YouTube channel. This year’s award went entirely to “Everything Everywhere All at Once”, the film by Daniels, which is already emerging as one of the candidates to win the Oscars 2023.
In this year’s issue, ‘Everything everywhere all at once’ won Best Cast at the SAG Awards, acknowledging the great cast of the film “Daniels”. In first place is Michelle Yeoh, who brings to life Evelyn, a migrant who has a family laundry business, and who with this film has gained recognition for her great career.
The prize a Best cast goes to Jamie Lee Curtis, James Hong, Stephanie Hsu, Ke Huy Quan, Harry Shum Jr., Jenny Slate and Michelle Yeoh for ‘Everything everywhere all at once’. While Yeoh also won the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor awards for Ke Huy Quan in the same film.
THE The SAG Awards gave a total of 4 awards to ‘Everything everywhere all at once’, while ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ was recognized as Best Stunt Cast. And ‘The Whale’ also won an award for Brendan Fraser in Darren Aronoksy’s film. With this, A24 was the distributor with the most awards at the ceremony, followed by Paramount Pictures.

‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ prepares for the Oscars
During its screening at festivals and following its theatrical release, “Everything Everywhere All at Once” has garnered a long list of industry awards and accolades, culminating in the Academy Awards on November 12th. The sci-fi, fantasy, comedy, action and other film received 11 Academy Award nominations.
Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert’s film even surpassed titles that were thought to be Oscar favorites, such as ‘Avatar: The Way of the Water’ or ‘Top Gun: Maverick’. Therefore, it should not only be the film with the most awards of the night, but also the one that manages to win the most important awards of the celebration.
Since February 24, “Everything Everywhere All at Once” premiered on the Amazon Prime Video platform and is currently the only way to stream it. So, if you don’t want to miss what will be one of the big winners of the next March 12 at the Oscars, you better go see it now.
