‘The Last of Us’: Ellie meets Troy Baker, Joel in the video game, in the advance of chapter 8

The seventh chapter of “The Last of Us” has allowed us to learn more about the story of Ellie, who has been seen at the crossroads between leaving Joel behind, seriously injured, or trying to save him. At the end of the episode we understand that Ellie decides to stay because she doesn’t want to lose a loved one again and she begins to mend the stab wound. However, even if Joel gets through it all, Ellie has to fend for herself while he recovers. In the preview of the next chapter, the eighth and penultimate of the season, Ellie rejoins the group that attacked Joel, where we also see a familiar face: actor Troy Baker, who played Joel in the original video game..

In the series, Baker plays James, one of the survivors of the gang that attacked Joel. The head of the group, intended as a Christian colony, is called David and wants to recruit Ellie, knowing that she could die alone. “There is room for you in our group”He says. “Others want to kill you.
