Interestingly, it is unknown if this is an actual image as it appears to have been taken from a blurry video, so the shot is part of the tape but Melissa McCarthy’s appearance in that frame could be different, perhaps with all the purple face, just like in the animated version.

Ursula the witch is one of the most famous Disney villainsand contains one of the iconic songs from ‘The Little Mermaid’, so Melissa McCarthy is expected to play this theme in the film, but to be able to see that scene, we’ll have to wait until the film’s theatrical release in May of 2023.

The live action version of ‘The Little Mermaid’ is one of the most anticipated films of the year, despite all the controversies that have arisen around the protagonist, who physically looks very different from Princess Ariel in the Disney animated film, but who promises to fall in love with the public starting from May 25, when it has its big cinema debut.
