How To Watch The Johnny Depp-Amber Heard Case;  I Heard You Will Stand Up

Johnny Depp has already testified, and Amber Heard will now take the stand in the widely publicized $50 million libel lawsuit against Depp’s ex-wife. The hearing takes place in the District Court in Fairfax, Virginia.

Both parties will present their cases in the presence of seven jurors, Depp, Herd, a lawyer and camera crew, and Judge Penny S. Azkarate. Depp’s cross-examination by Herd’s lawyers concluded last week. He emerges as the defense’s second witness after lunch today.

The first defense witness since Depp’s party disbanded earlier this week is the recently recuperated forensic psychologist Dr. Dawn Hughes testified about cases where Heard Depp was subjected to domestic and sexual abuse by Depp. Depp’s lawyers tried to shake up Depp’s knowledge of the couple’s relationship.

The defamation trial runs from Monday to Thursday, with a break on Friday. It will take five weeks. However, there will be a hiatus from May 9-12 due to Azkart attending a pre-scheduled conference.
