Hopper Penn says he’s not a “Nepo Baby” and doesn’t care if people think he is one

Hopper Penn is an actor with famous parents, but says he’s not a “fake baby” and doesn’t care what people think of him.

The son of actor Sean Penn and house of cards Star Robin Wright rejects any notion that he is a ‘fake baby’, the child of famous parents. Penn beams Devil’s Spike with his mother and shared his thoughts on the infamous label in a recent interview.

“I don’t care because I’m not,” Penn said Yahoo! Entertainment.

“It came up while we were shooting,” Penn said. “Destry showed me an article that called it a ‘nepotism film’ and I just laughed at it. Kaia Gerber, daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford, also recently spoke on the subject, admitting that she has some privileges thanks to her famous mother.

“I will not deny the privilege I have. Even if it’s just the fact that I have a good source of information and someone who can give me good advice, that alone makes me very happy,” she said in an interview with Elle. “My mother used to joke, ‘If I could call and book a Chanel campaign, it would be for me, not you.’ But I also met wonderful people through my mother, with whom I now work.”

However, Gerber feels it is completely different now that she has carved a niche for herself in the acting world.

“No artist will sacrifice his vision for someone else’s child. Art just isn’t made that way, and what interests me is art,” she added. “Furthermore, nobody wants to work with someone who is annoying, not easy to handle and not fun. Yes, nepotism is rampant, but I think if that’s really what people make of it, we’ll see more of it.”
