A funny and heartwarming trailer for the family comedy-drama has been released About my fatherstarring the Oscar winner Robert DeNiro and comical Sebastian Maniscalco like father and son. The film is directed by Laura Teruso (I want my phone back, Good girls get high) from a screenplay written by Maniscalco and Austen Earl. De Niro and Maniscalco are joined in the cast by Leslie Bibb like Eli, Kim Cattrall like Tigger, Brett Dier as Doug Collins, Anders Holm such as Lucky Collins, e David Rasche like Bill.

The synopsis of the film reads:
“The film centers on Sebastian (Maniscalco) who is encouraged by his girlfriend (Leslie Bibb) to take his immigrant father and hairdresser, Salvo (De Niro), on a weekend with his super-rich and extremely eccentric family. The weekend develops into what can only be described as a culture clash, leaving Sebastian and Salvo to discover that the great thing about family is all about family.
Looks like it’s going to be a really fun movie! It kind of reminded me Meet the Parents, but in reverse, less embarrassing, and also starring Robert De Niro! I can’t wait to see him, because I love a good comedy and De Niro always gives a great performance. Check out the trailer below and see About my father in theaters May 26.
