David Ayer reveals a never-before-seen image of Jared Leto as the Joker Mariachi

It has been 7 years since the 2016 release of ‘Suicide Squad’, one of the most criticized films of the EUDC, and which has doomed many of its actors within the company. Now, director David Ayer remains determined to bring his vision for the film to life and has revealed a never-before-seen image of Jared Leto dressed as the Joker mariachi.

Through their social networks, David Ayer revealed an image of ‘suicide squad’ where you can see Jared Leto in a moment never seen before in the DC Comics movie. The photograph is titled “Experiments”, in what appears to refer to the hundreds of costume fittings that were made for the film, and it seems that this one was completely discarded.

In the picture you can see Jared Leto as the Joker in a mariachi suit, or at least one reminiscent of this type of regional Mexican musicians. The director didn’t mention which ‘Suicide Squad’ moment the image is referring to, but seems to suggest that it’s the sequence where the Joker dances with Harley Quinn, which was also left out of the tape montage. .

There is no doubt that David Ayer keeps trying to pitch ‘Suicide Squad, yesterday’s cut’, as Zack Snyder achieved with his ‘Justice League Snyder Cut’ on HBO Max.
