‘Grey’s Anatomy’: Ellen Pompeo’s farewell while Meredith disappoints American fans

In the United States, ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ fans have already been able to see the episode that promised to be a before and after in the history of the series: the farewell of its protagonist Meredith Grey, played by actress Ellen Pompeo for 19 seasons. This disappointment is bolstered by the fact that the episode is completely devoid of legendary moments, especially for a series that has resorted to all kinds of emotional momentum. “Meredith Grey, whose sister, dog, mother, husband, father, best friend was killed; survived shooting, plane crash, drowning, emergency C-section; bid farewell to series with less epic than any extra”, criticism another fan. There are many people who have compared the end of Meredith with the farewell of others such as Alex Karev, also disappointedwhile not the most prominent character in ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, he has gone more unnoticed.

Without revealing plot details, we can say that the chapter ‘I’ll Follow the Sun’, which will arrive in Spain through the Disney+ platform, ends up leaving several fronts open. Not in vain do we hope to see Meredith again in the season finale, as established by Deadline.
