Solo: A Star Wars Story it was really underrated Star Wars movie. It was so much fun! But it didn’t make a billion dollars, so it wasn’t considered a hit. I love the movie though, and it was one of the best movies Lucasfilm produced when they were making movies. He’s also created a really cool and interesting story arc that we’ll probably never see play out.

While Lucasfilm has no plans for a sequel, there is a movement on social media with fans rallying behind the #MakeSolo2Happen hashtag. Now if hell freezes over and Lucasfilm and Disney are like “hey! let’s do it!” I wanted Alden Ehrenreich be interested in returning to the role? During a recent interview with Uproxx, she stated:
“If it was the right iteration and the right thing, I would love it. Because, to me, in the first movie you watch him become Han. I have to be Han Solo for the last 15 minutes of the movie, maybe. And so being Han Solo is the fun part.
“And I don’t have any [expletive] guess if there’s ever a world where any of this happens, and if it does, great, if it doesn’t, whatever. But it was really cool…that’s what appeals to me because they kind of built this sort of origin story for when he becomes who he is, but then that guy is the guy who’s really funny and he’s a ball to play with. character in particular.
Ehrenreich went on to compare Solo’s evolution to Ford’s other famous character, Indiana Jones, and how the idea of being Han in multiple films is exciting to him:
“So the first movie, you’re watching it turn into that. So becoming, I think the original vibe of all that stuff was almost more like an Indiana Jones idea where you could see this guy being that guy over the course of a few movies. Anyway, so to me it’s interesting this character and being able to do that. But who knows?
While a sequel to Solo won’t happen, perhaps some of the story elements introduced in the first film will be explored Donald Glove’S Landau series.
Ehrenreich can be seen later Cocaine bearout in theaters today!
