Many DC fans are excited about the upcoming video game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Warner Bros. Games and DC recently released a new trailer showcasing 4-player co-op gameplay in action. The game looks pretty good, but I wish the trailer made it look like more than one person was playing, you know? Also, it’s rather annoying that the co-op experience is limited to online play. Let’s bring co-op back to the couch! In the game, you will play as Harley Quinn, King Shark, Deadshot, and Captain Boomerang, each with their own unique gameplay and abilities.
The video shows a new look at the game’s high-intensity combat set against the vast and explorable open world of Metropolis, which is teeming with Brainiac’s hostile forces. Enjoyable as a solo or four-player online co-op experience, the gameplay reveal offers an in-depth look at the multiplayer mayhem that can ensue, with each squad member’s traversal abilities and unique attacks in full display. Whether players gravitate to Harley Quinn’s wild stunts, King Shark’s mighty leaps, Deadshot’s aerial shots, or Captain Boomerang’s lightning-fast strength, each character offers distinct abilities specific to their own brand of mayhem.
Additionally, a behind-the-scenes featurette was released. This featurette features members of the Rocksteady Studios development team as they expand into the world of Kill the Justice League and provide more in-depth coverage of the game’s core elements and characters. There is also some information about post-launch content such as new characters and quests that will be available at no extra cost.
