Every time Keanu Reeves jump into the role for a new one John Wick movie, he trains and works his ass off to pull off those badass action sequences! For the upcoming movie, John Wick: Chapter 4Reeves trained for three months preparing to pull off his stunts!

A new featurette has been released for the film that offers some great insight into the making of the film, and Reeves revealed:

“It was about 12 weeks of training. It’s new levels of action. You know, nuns, which was challenging…’ The action of John Wick just begs for a little more. And you see the effort and commitment of the team.”

One of the film’s most intense and challenging stunts involved Reeves racing around the historic Arc de Triomphe in Paris, France in a car. The actor had to learn to do a reverse 180 and drift while he reloaded his gun and shot out the door. Previously he said:

“For Chapter 4, we wanted to bring muscle cars back to life. Have we gone too far? We’ve taken car driving to the next level, which I really like. There’s 180, 180 back-forward, 270 back-forward, drifting… So it was really fun to have the chance to learn those skills and play.

Reeves added:

John Wick: Chapter 4 has more action than any other [‘John Wick’] movie, which says a lot. And that’s more than a good margin. It’s a great show… ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ was the hardest physical role I’ve ever had in my career so far. They really trained me to be able to have what we call the toolbox.

In John Wick: Chapter 4Wick faces new enemies and reunites with old friends in his quest to destroy the evil High Table once and for all.

John Wick: Chapter 4 is led by Chad Stahelski, and the cast also includes Donnie Extravagant Yen, Hiroyuki Sanada, Rina Sawayama, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Clancy Brown, Ian McShane, AND Bill Skarsgard as the sinister main villain.

The film is currently scheduled to hit theaters on May 27, 2023.. Enjoy the featurette below! It’s packed with new action-packed cutscenes!
