AMC has released a couple of new behind-the-scenes photos from their upcoming movie Walking Dead spin-off series featuring fan favorite characters Rick and Michonne. The six-episode limited series, originally planned as a feature film, has kicked off production, and photos tease the return of Andrew Lincoln like Rick, e Danai Gurira like Michonne.

The official synopsis of the show reads:
The series features an epic love story of two characters changed by a changed world. Separated by distance. From an unstoppable power. From the ghosts of who they were. Rick and Michonne are thrown into another world, one built on a war against the dead…and finally, a war against the living. Will they be able to find each other and who they were in a different place and situation than they have ever known before? Are they enemies? lovers? Victims? Winners? Without each other, are they alive, or will they find out that they too are The Walking Dead?
Scott M. Gimple, Chief Content Officer of The Walking Dead universeserves as showrunner and executive producer alongside Lincoln, Gurira, Denise Huth and Brian Bockrath.
