ALICE IS MISSING: SILENT FALLS expansion has hit Kickstarter

Alice has disappeared by Hunters Books and Renegade Game Studios is a silent tabletop RPG that won the Gold ENnie Award for Best Game, Best Rules and Product of the Year at the 2021 ENnie Awards. The game is played via text messages and use cards to prompt game events. Players take on the role of people related to Alice Briarwood, a teenager from the sleepy California town of Silent Falls who has gone missing. Players investigate to learn more about her life, relationships and each other. It’s a really great game that is played on a timer and it’s definitely a really exciting experience, I highly recommend it. The expansion has landed on Kickstarter and is already funded.

The Silent Falls expansion offers new cards that include 4 new playable characters, 3 new suspects, 3 new locations, 22 new clues and 2 relationship cards with a total of 12 new hints to deepen your connection with other characters. You will be able to explore the Caloma Caves and face new suspects such as Alice’s distant father and discover new story conclusions and new 10-minute clue cards. The expansion introduces a total of 38 new cards, more than half of the cards from the original game. The new clue cards include those for standard timestamps and 3 new 10-minute timestamp cards and a replacement 90-minute card.

You can also get the Kickstarter exclusive Keepsake experience. This offers unique memorabilia that will help players enter Alice’s world. There are various level levels that will determine how many items you will get but this will definitely make your game play even more memorable. I love good support for a game and it seems the team behind the expansion agrees.

I really can’t recommend this game enough and if you’re already a fan then definitely go get this expansion. The Kickstarter will run until March 15, 2023 with prizes starting at $10 for the PDF copy of the set.
