By Disney Haunted house the film has been given a new release date of August 11, 2023. It was originally supposed to hit theaters on July 28, 2023, so it’s not a big deal.

Justin Simien (Dear whites, bad hair) is directing the new film, based on the popular Disney theme park attraction that features 999 hangouts.
The movie has a great cast which includes LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson, Rosario DawsonAND Danny DeVito star, with Jamie Lee Curtis such as Madame Leota and Jared Leto as the hatbox ghost. Winona Ryder, Dan LeviAND Hassan Minhaj will also appear in the new film.
Here’s the synopsis: “In this mysterious adventure, a female doctor (Dawson) and her 9-year-old son (Go after Dillon), looking to start a new life, move into an eerily cheap mansion in New Orleans, only to find the place is much more than they bargained for. Desperate for help, they contact a priest (Wilson), who, in turn, enlists the help of a widowed scientist turned failed paranormal expert (Stanfield), a French Quarter psychic (Haddish), and a cantankerous historian (DeVito ).
Katie Dippold (ghost Buster 2016) is writing the screenplay for the new film for Disney.
