But the thing is, the platform’s catalog is very vast, and you won’t want to see the first one that crosses your eyes. Originally released in 2017, ‘1922’ is a horror thriller you should try it, if you haven’t. It’s a story by Zak Hilditch, based on the Stephen King novel of the same name, which follows a farmer who admits to killing his wife, but that’s just the beginning of a story that’s even more gruesome than it sounds. Starring Sandra Bullock and Julian McMahon, we have ‘Premonitions’, it is a mystery thriller where we learn the life of Linda Hanson. A woman with a perfect life, until she receives the news that her husband has died in an accident. But the day after she wakes up and next to her is her husband, even if what he experienced was not a dream.

Triple 9

In an action thriller, we have John Hillcoat’s ‘Triple 9’, with an impressive star cast, including Woody Harrelson, Casey Affleck, Anthony Mackie, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Kate Winslet, Aaron Paul and more. It is about a group of criminals who, with the help of some corrupt cops, want to carry out a big robbery in Los Angeles, but it requires extreme planning.

And finally, a sci-fi thriller, directed by such a promise, Duncan Jones. This is ‘Mute’, a film starring Paul Rudd and Alexander Skarsgard, drinking from cyberpunk, in a Berlin of the future, where a mute waiter is looking for his missing beloved, and the search for him takes him through the criminal underworld of the city.
