Director Wes Ball (The maze runner) has finished production at 20th Century Studios Kingdom of the Planet of the Apesand to celebrate, he shared a video from the set showing some unrendered CGI monkeys celebrating the occasion.

The cast includes Owen Teague (It), Freya Allen (The sorcerer), AND Peter Macone (The Orville). The script of the film comes from Josh Friedmann (War of the Worlds), Rick Jaffa AND Amanda Silver (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), AND Patrick Aison (Prey). She also co-stars Travis Jeffery (Uninterrupted), Neil Sandland (Sweetness), Sarah Wiseman (One of us is lying), Ras-Samuel Welda’abzgi (The clearing), Lydia Peckham (Cowboy bebop), AND Kevin Durand.
This film is said to begin “a whole new chapter in the Planet of the Apes saga, which picks up many years after the conclusion of 2017 War for the Planet of the Apes.”
Steve Asbellthe president of 20th Century Studios previously spoke about the film, saying: “Planet of the Apes is one of the most iconic and legendary sci-fi franchises in cinematic history, as well as being an indelible part of our studio’s legacy. With Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes We are privileged to continue the franchise’s tradition of imaginative and thought-provoking cinema, and we look forward to sharing Wes’ extraordinary vision for this new chapter with audiences in 2024.”
