Amazon Prime Video has released a full trailer for Riley Keoughis a great looking musical drama series Daisy Jones and the six. The series tells the story of a fictional rock group popular in the 70s and their epic, wild and dramatic rise to the top.
The show is based on the novel by Taylor Jenkins Reidand the story follows “a rock band in the 1970s from their rise in the Los Angeles music scene to become one of the most legendary bands in the world and explores the reason for their split at the height of their success”.
An entire music library has been created for the series and is called the soundtrack in the universe Aurora. Aurora Production supervisor Blake Mills spoke about it and said in a statement, “Building the music library for Daisy Jones and the Six was an experience I will never forget. I’m grateful that, among other things, she offered me the opportunity to collaborate with so many of my peers, and some of my heroes as well.”
The director of the film added: “Finally we have Aurora. A stunning, nostalgic and timeless album that captures the drama, pathos and longing of the band’s zenith and nadir all rolled into one. A snapshot of time, intoxicating and dangerous That delicious moment you know can’t last…Daisy Jones and the Six are real. And they’re better than my wildest dreams.”
Daisy Jones and the six has a great ensemble cast which also includes Sam Claflin, Camila Morrone, Will Harrison, Suki Waterhouse, Josh Whitehouse, Sebastian Chacon, Nabia Be, Tom WrightAND Timotheus Oliphant.
Daisy Jones and the six arrives on Prime Video on March 3.
