Wild survivors is a new side set coming out this summer for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading card game. It has 60 cards with three new strategies. First, there are new Dinosaur-type monsters for your Extra Deck that include Fusion, Synchro, and Xyz. Second, there’s a ritual-evoking strategy with a culinary theme that makes me hope and pray that the meme that is Hungry Burger is somehow included in it. It seems that the idea is to ritually summon one of the new monsters, fulfill a specific condition and then offer it as tribute and an opponent’s monster to bring out another one in the archetype. The third theme is about “Attribute-Based Special Attacks!” This makes me think of old Element Monsters like Element Dragon and Element Soldier that gained bonuses based on what other Attributes were on the board. Maybe they’ll be better this time?

Wild survivors will be released June 2 with an MSRP of $4.49 per booster pack and each booster pack will include 1 foil card and 6 rare cards for a total of 7 cards per booster pack. The rarity breakdown and full explanation of each archetype will be below.

THE Wild survivors booster set contains 60 cards:

  • 10 ultra rare

  • 15 super rare

  • 35 rare

    • The 15 cards in the set are also available as Collector’s Rare

A ritual summoning strategy that will introduce your opponent to a whole new world of monster cooking! Cook your opponent’s monsters and serve them a full meal that reacts. Once you have Ritual Summoned your first monster and the special condition is met, it can Tribute along with 1 of your opponent’s monsters to Summon the next one in the menu!
