Although formats have changed a lot in films since the pandemic, which has led to the absolute boom of streaming platforms, both Stahelski and Reeves they wanted the film to hit the big screen, so its release was delayed multiple times, as Wired collects. Reeves thinks so “Part of the power of cinema is in its scale. You see a close-up of a beautiful performance full of emotion and stories that move you. Whether it’s horror, action or comedy, you’re looking at a face that’s, you know, twenty feet tall. There’s a certain coziness to it”. For his part, the director says that although it may be something generational, “I like watching a movie in the cinema. Even if it ends up streaming later. It’s a very different experience”. Then save the date: next March 24th We will be able to see ‘John Wick 4’ in cinemas, which lasts 2h 49 minutes with credits included.
