A new report has come out stating that the Alec Baldwinwestern driven drama Rust is returning to production. More than a year ago, the film was cut short after Baldwin unknowingly fired a loaded prop gun, which killed the film’s cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. Baldwin has since been charged with manslaughter, and the production has faced multiple lawsuits from former crew members against the film’s producers, leading to an investigation into alleged systemic safety issues on the set.
