Steven Knight in 2013 premiered one of best drama movies with a story that happens in one place. This is ‘Locke’ starring Tom Hardy with Tom Holland and Olivia Colman. It’s the story of a man who gives up everything to lead the birth of his child with a woman he met one night. Available on Apple TV and YouTube.
Carnage
Director Roman Polanski also decided to tell his story drama film with a single recording set. It is ‘Carnage’, with Christoph Waltz, Kate Winslet and Jodie Foster, who give life to two married couples who meet to discuss a quarrel between their children, but the conversation ends in a heated argument. rear window
Alfred Hitchcock is also a master of movies in one locationas demonstrated in 1954’s “Rear Window”. It is a story in which a photographer sitting in a wheelchair spies on the neighbors, until he witnesses a brutal murder.

misery
Stephen King’s adaptation of the play, ‘Misery’ also takes place in the home of an out-of-control fan. ‘Misery’ stars Kathy Bates and follows a fan who helps her favorite writer recover from an accident, to keep him trapped until she can convince him to write a new story just for her. The whale
Darren Aronofksy managed to adapt Samuel D. Hunter’s play into ‘The Whale’, his most recent drama film. Brendan Fraser plays an overweight online professor who has never left his apartment and who wants to reconnect with his teenage daughter, played by Sadie Sink. Currently in cinemas.
Buried
Now a dramatic thriller that could not be digested by the claustrophobic. It is ‘Buried’, in which Ryen Reynolds brings to life a man who, after an armed attack on his convoy in the Iraq war, is declared dead and buried alive. In the middle of it all, he wakes up in his coffin, with only a cell phone. Available on Amazon Prime Video.
