Liam Neeson will return to collaborate with the director Neil Giordano (The crying game) on a new thriller film project titled Riker’s ghost. This is another project that is perfectly suited to Neeson as he will take on the role of a ready-for-release convict who is forced to break a terrorist out of prison. So, we can bet we’ll see him kick some ass once again.

Jordan described the film in a statement saying, “This is a unique take on prison breaking. A bare-knuckle run from incarceration to freedom, by someone who just wants to finish his term. The reluctant escapee will be played by Liam Neeson, and I can’t wait to explore that character with him.”
The project is underway at Parallel Film and producer Alan Moloney said: “I’m thrilled to be joining forces again with Neil and Liam. We have assembled an elite team to support Neil’s scripted and directorial vision. This will keep you on the edge of your seat.
The film was written by Sean O’Keefe (Spenser reserved) AND Brian Rudnick (Dungeons & Dragons), AND Dawn of the Planet of the Apes director Rupert Wyatt also acts as a producer. The shooting of the film is scheduled to start in September 2023.
Neeson and Jordan have already worked together on the upcoming noir thriller Marlow.
