The first teaser trailer has been released for Owen Wilson’it’s the upcoming movie Colorwhich was clearly inspired by the iconic TV artist Bob Ross.

In the film, Wilson plays a character called Carl Nargle, “Vermont’s No. 1 public television painter who thinks he has it all: a signed perm, a custom van, and fans hung with every shot…until a youngest and best artist steals everything (and everyone) Carl loves.
It looks like a funny film that will provide some good laughs with its deadpan humor. Wilson is joined by Michaela Watkins (Werewolves within, sword of trustCBS’ The Unicorn), Wendi McLendon-Covey (BridesmaidsABC The Goldbergs), Ciara Renee (Hawk girl from the CW’s Arrowverse), Lusia Strus (Research party, 50 first dates), New arrival Lucy Freyer, AND Stefano Root (by HBO Barry, Office Space).
The film was directed by Brit McAdams.
Sam Maydew of Silver Lining Entertainment is producing with financier Peter Brant, and Owen Wilson is executive producing Richard J. Bosner AND Joel David Moore.
The film is scheduled for release on April 7, 2023.
