Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania hits theaters this week, and the third film in the franchise promises to open up the multiverse and launch Marvel fans into Phase 5. But before the film even hits nationwide, we’ve learned that a possible Ant Man 4 is in studio talks.

At this week’s press conference for QuantimaniaMarvel producer Stephen Brussard confirmed the rumors to ComicBook, saying:
“We’re already thinking about it. It’s like every movie is its own battle and you carry the scars of having done it and wanting to do it big. But the hope is eternal and you start to pull yourself together after the journey to make the movie. You’re like , ‘Yeah, what if we did X what if we did Y?’ Like the wheels start turning, you just can’t help them. I don’t want to say anything specific about what they are, but yeah, you can’t help them. Those conversations, those whispers have already started happening between me and Peyton and Kevin.” .
Of course it refers to Ant man director Peyton Reedand Marvel president Kevin Feige. It’s really cool to hear that they’re thinking about what might happen next. Not all Marvel superheroes stop at a trilogy, with Thor as an example. This tidbit gives me hope that Scott Lang survives this movie. I’d love to see the Ant-Man story move forward. And you?
