Recently there has been talk of Right franchise and possible prequel shows that are in development for it. Well, Showtime is officially moving forward with a new series, which it’s currently titled Dexter: Origins.

The show is a prequel that will center on “a young Dexter as he begins his transition into the serial killer avenger he would become.” The series will see him graduate from college to join Miami Metro, where he meets younger versions of various Right characters.
The show will also feature his family, including his stepfather Harry, who was played by James Remar in the original series alongside “a formidable teenage Deb,” who was played by Jennifer Carpenter in the original series.
This is sure to be an interesting show, and there’s also a Trinity Killer prequel series in the works. Chris McCarthypresident and CEO of Showtime and Paramount Media Networks said in a statement, “The Right saga has been an undeniable creative and popular success for Showtime, both in its original and innovative form and in the record Dexter: New blood. The series is a rich foundation for other shows in the complex and subversive anti-hero lane that Showtime has always done so brilliantly. Clyde is steeped in compelling stories and characters that will satisfy the cravings of our diverse audience.
It was also announced that the Showtime series Billions it’s getting multiple spin-offs. In fact, there are currently four shows in the works based on the financial drama. There is Billions: Miami set in the world of private aviation, “where the clientele believe the rules of society, government and gravity don’t apply to them, amidst the wealth, nightlife, smuggling and cryptocurrency that pulsate through the city”.
They are also in development”Billions: London, set in the world of British finance; Millions, with several thirty-something would-be finance moguls in Manhattan; AND Trillionbased on fictional stories of the richest people in the world – titans of industry who live all over the country but who come into contact and come into conflict with one another.
Showrunners Brian Koppelman and David Levien said in a statement, “We are fascinated by people whose ambition is boundless and who think the laws of civilization and nature don’t apply to them. Miami is a vital and vibrant place that the super rich have started to take over. We’re excited to show everyone what’s really going on over there.”
