John Krasinski shares first photos from ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’

The ‘A Quiet Place’ franchise was a real surprise among suspense and horror thrillers in 2018. Now, with a successful sequel, the saga will go back a few years to tell what happened in the apocalypse of this alien invasion on ‘Day One’ . And John Krasinski shared the first photographs from the new installment of this story, which he started the recordings.

Through his Twitter account, the director and actor John Krasinksi confirmed that’A quiet place. First day’ started recording. This time Krasinski is not back as the protagonist or as director, but he is on the set of the recordings as a producer of the prequel, and he did so by sharing a photograph with the blackboard to celebrate the start of the recordings.

In the photographs, Krasinski confirms the first day of registration ‘A quiet place: first day’, which will now be directed by Michael Sarnoski, responsible for the thriller ‘Pig’ with Nicolas Cage and Alex Wollf, the latter recently joined the cast of this spin-off. The actor of “The Office” is also involved in the script of the film, but the screenwriter is Scott Beck.

The story of ‘A quiet place: first day’ will be played by Lupita Nyong’o, which can be seen in one of the photos with John Krasinksi and director Michael Sarnoski. At the moment, the Mexican and Alex Wolff are the only ones confirmed in the cast. But rumors also claim that Joseph Quinn, who plays Eddie Munson in Netflix’s ‘Stranger Things’, is also part of the cast.

Everything We Know About ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’

After the departure of Jeff Nichols, responsible for “Mud”, Sarnoski remained the director of “A Quien Place One”, which had some problems in its pre-production. Story-wise, aside from the obvious, not much is known about the plot, as there’s no word on whether Krasinksi and Emily Blunt’s characters will appear in any way in the film.

What is more than confirmed is that, as the title says, the story of ‘A Quiet Place’ will take place on the first day of the alien invasion, which has brought all of humanity to the brink of extinction, caused by some horrific creatures that are guided only by sound.

As filming begins, Paramount is expected to reveal more details about ‘A Quiet Place’ soon, as well as the rest of the cast that will accompany Lupia Nyong’o in the main story. At the moment, the release date of the third chapter of the saga should arrive on March 8, 2024.
